We're traveling for a week with the kiddos next month to a conference. I want a few new art supplies to bring with us to help keep the kiddos busy while DH is busy. I obviously can't travel with my Stockmar jars, but I don't really want Crayola either. What would you recommend in the middle? I know I have a list somewhere, but putting my hands on it is not happening!
I'm also bringing Playdoh or something similar, but another 1-2 ideas would be fantastic! I'll probably be able to set them up outside so a little mess isn't a problem. :-D
TIA!
ETA: I remember reading a blog post once about a mom who had put together watercolor kits for her kiddos for nature study. I think she had water pens for them. Does that ring a bell for anyone?
ETA2: Found it, if anyone else is interested: http://www.alicecantrell.com/blog/20...-painting.html
