Seasonal allergies?

I am so miserable and hoping y'all can help with more ideas. I went a few pages back but didn't see any threads about seasonal allergies.

I am in Eugene, OR which is basically the worst city to be in for pollen according to pollen.com.
This year I am taking claritin-D, Zaditor eye drops, using a neti pot, eating local honey, washing my face often...and still I am MISERABLE. Itchy eyes, itchy throat, sneezing, runny nose. I won't let DH open the doors for a cross-breeze, as it makes it worse. Being outside with the kids ends in misery!

Any natural suggestions? Un-natural suggestions? I don't care at this point. Any help would be great! Thanks

Is the honey you are eating raw? If not, switch to raw.

Add Zantac 150mg to your drugs. Claritan is an H1 blocker. Zantac (yes, the stomach medicine) is an H2 blocker. H2 (histamine 2) causes reflux which is why it is seen as a stomach med. However, it can also be used an an antihistamine.

Feel better!

And, yes, raw, local honey from the farmer's market.

You might want to experiment and replace the Claritin with something else. For me, Claritin didn't work. Zyrtec works better. For my DH, Allegra worked best. DH and I also did prescription nosedrops. Again, different ones worked for each of us. So I think you need to see which one works best for you. I know here in the Northeast, they said this is the worst pollen season in years. Pulmonologists are really busy this year, my regular doctor was saying.

We use local raw honey and Alavert. The pollen is horrible here, but between the honey and the Alavert when it's really bad, we're doing pretty well.
