I agree with your decision to cancel the plash park. It's hard to take away something fun you have planned but you do have to stay strong and stick to your decision!
I think the reason she does go on for so long is because she knows the begging, and asking for regaining it has worked in the past, getting you to cave in! It's rough! Hopefully they can all go happily to the spray park soon!!
