LH surge, ewcm...but no ovulation. i am confused

How come my $200 fertility monitor detects an LH surge, I have tons of ewcm but then per ultrasound the dr says I just don't ovulate. what does that mean and what can be done to fix it. i have tried clomid and femara. this month i did soy isoflavones, fish oil, vitamin b6. no ultrasound this month but again, the monitor told me i was about to ovulate, had the ewcm.

so confused and frusturated.

This totally happens to me. a lot. I'm sorry it happened to you.

As far as why for you- I have no idea, I wish I did. Me personally? I have endo and my RE's opinion is that the chemical changes from that affect the ability of the ovary to release and egg in response to LH and, then, the fimbria of the fallopian tube don't work right, so any theoretic egg won't get picked up.

Do you chart? If you're not having U/S this month- are you sure you didn't O?

Have you tried a trigger shot with clomid or femera? That's my next line.

Do you know how they can tell from the ultrasound if you've ovulated or not and how many days after the positive ovulation test did you get the ultrasound? I got an ultrasound prior to my IUI but none afterward and so now I'm confused if I should call and ask for another ultrasound so they can see if I ovulated or not. I'm surprised they didn't suggest it themself if they can see if I ovulated or not which obviously is important otherwise all the meds and everything goes to waste.
