Interesting system. Dd will definitely have to have teeth extracted, though. She has extra permanent teeth... 34 instead of 32 according to the x-rays. And her mouth is already crowded with baby teeth... even without the extra teeth would be crowded. She comes by it honestly. I had braces 4 separate times in my life starting at 11 and finishing up when I was in my 30's. I'll have to ask my uncle about it. I'm sure even though he's retired that he knows the pros and cons. Thank you!

We save for potential lay offs (which has happened more than we'd like), car repairs, vacations, and that's pretty much it. We're renting so we don't have to worry about stuff breaking down around the house. I just started a 529 college fund for the kids if that counts.
