Looks good to me! I hope you find a system that works for you!

That's a whole lotta covers. The stacinator one looks good on paper but is useless IRL. Chances are the thirsties, bummis or motherease will work for you--not all velcro wears badly so don't skip the motherease rikki or imse vimse covers just because of velcro. Motherease OS really only fit under ME covers, you can squish them into other covers but they don't work as well IME.

My favorite covers are Imse Vimse Organic Cotton, followed by Imse Vimse Soft with snaps, if you needed incentive to try any more

I also wouldn't bother getting anything onesize until your baby is 12lbs or so. I've found they don't fit well until then and if you have a small baby you might get quite a lot of use out of the sized covers and diapers--DD2 went from small prefolds & covers straight to onesize diapers and large covers and it looks like I won't need to size up before she's out of diapers altogether. I find OS covers a hassle as well as being confusing to other users (DH unable to use anything OS).

Lastly, one 3 pack of snappis will very likely be enough, unless you are already a confirmed loser of hairclips, earrings, screwdrivers etc you will probably be able to make 3 snappis last for your entire diapering career.

Good luck!

just to second the pp. you shouldn't need 6 snappis. i bought a 2 and have only used 1 and dd is 5m.
while i love my me airflow, the os diaper wasn't my favorite (too much issue with wing droop)

I would hold off on one sized covers and diapers too. They don't work for my girl at all. Every baby is different and i know some people love them but not us. She's a tiny thing and they just haven't worked out for us. I'd wait to see how you like the others and what shape and size your baby is. At least don't buy many if you do try them until you know they will work for you.

velcro wear isn't really an issue with newborn covers since they don't wear them very long. Our faves for the NB stage were the thirsties sized covers. Such pretty colors too!

One pack is good with snappis. if you find that one breaks or you start to lose them you can always get another pack later.

I agree with the PP. For whatever it's worth, I would get a mix of velcro and snaps: I wanted snaps for the same reason that you do, but I can not for the life of me get the snap diapers to fit my DS as well as the velcro dipes do. He has skinny little legs or something - so in order to get the diaper snug enough around his legs, it gets too tight around the waist. This was a particular issue when he was a newborn.

We had 3 newborn sized covers when DS was a newborn, and I think I will probably pick up a couple more next time we have a baby - he blew out between the cover and the prefold a lot. Since DS has been about 3 months old, we have been just fine with our three favorite (Bummi Superbrites) covers - he doesn't blow out nearly as often (maybe we are just better at getting the diaper on?). Your mileage may vary, of course.

Also, in regards to the snappis: You don't need 6, for sure. I inherited two packs from a friend, and it has surely been fun to match the snappi to the cover but most of them go unused.

Good luck!

Velcro does wear out, but IMO it would be extremely difficult to wear out ANYTHING on newborn/xs covers -- those things are often outgrown in less than 2 months. Velcro is easier to use and get a good fit -- no aiming to line up snaps. Even my old old bummis and proraps mediums that look awful don't have totally worn out velcro, and some have seen 4+ years of regular use (they fit from 3-4 months until past the second birthday). IME, the PUL & elastic often (usually?) wear out before the velcro.
