I took about 80mg this cycle from cd 3-7. DD was nursing once a day at that pont, if at all. So I took it right after that (am for us) and I felt comfortable with that decision.

I also took 80 mg on days 3-7 this month. I guess I'll see in a a week or so if it made any difference. I am nursing about 3-4 times a day.

I tried it in Jan and took it days 3-7 and took 200mg per day. I was nursing ds and it was fine, however it screwed with my cycles. That cycle was annovulatory, the following cycle was an early o and super short, then had a late o cycle 37 days total, the one after that I had a false start on o complete with +opk but didn't actually o til day 28 and got pregnant with a blighted ovum and miscarried two weeks ago at 7 1/2 weeks. I will never, ever try it again. My cycles were like clockwork before and have always been, I'm hoping to get back to normal soon and have been taking vitex to regulate my hormones. If I were going to take something to help with ttc, I would go with red clover, royal honey, vitex, or accupunture. That's just my experience, I have heard of it working for lots and have also heard other stories like mine. GL with whatever you decide.

I took 160 mg in the evening days 3-7 and got pregnant the first time I tried it (after 6 mos trying with charting and 18 mos not preventing). It moved my O date up a LOT so be prepared for that possibility.

I took it again while BF DS. I did a ton of research and decided I was okay with it. DS was only BFing 1-2 times a day and not at night. I took it in the evening. I got preg with #2 the second month I took it. It didn't move my O date this time but my LP was still only 5-7 days (PPAF had recently returned) and I got preg despite that so maybe the soy helped.

It did not affect my milk supply at all - though pregnancy did and DS weaned when I was around 12 weeks. It was hard for me and I've had some regrets about that.
