Hi
I am new here, I have lurked and read some of the informational posts but am coming out of lurkdom. I am on TBW, but didnt really find any UC groups so came over to here to look for one.
We are planning a UC come sept. It has been a process but finally committed to it recently with firing the midwife we had that was not right for us. We had planned a UC with our 3rd but then found her (the midwife) and went with her last min and that didnt end up working out either. She ended up transfering us due to long labor and her lack of trust in the birth process I believe. My first two children were unnecessary cesareans. We were uneducated and went with an OB and that is about how things turn out if you arent educated these days. I then found ICAN and became an ICAN Leader (International Cesarean Awareness Network) in my city shortly after that and got educated then went on to have a VBA2C with our third and boy was that HARD after being transfered. We had to fight for a vaginal birth for 3 hours and then they decided to let me "try". Shortly after the fight I gave birth to the same size baby as my "CPD" baby, Imagine that!
So long story short here we are and I have never been more at peace with our decision to UC.
Just here for support and learning as much as I can.
