TF and dental issues

I am new to TF and reading everything I can get my hands on. I found Weston Price's writings (haven't read it all yet) on dental issues in traditional cultures particularly interesting.
So when I took my 4-year-old to the dentist yesterday for his first check up and cleaning and was told that he has a narrow dental arch and narrow nostrils leading to mouth breathing and tooth grinding my heart sank. He said he would need an appliance when he was 8 or so to widen his arch. I feel sad that I had not read about TF earlier, knowing that my mostly vegetarian pregnancy probably created this for my kiddo.
So here is my question. Is it too late? Has he already formed this narrow dental arch, or will eating TF as he continues to grow help to grow these bones in a healthier shape? Are there foods I should really focus on? I feel sad that while I was doing what I thought was best for me and my baby, I actually was restricting the nutrients he needed to be healthy. Any ideas or advice would be great.

I don't know if it's too late for his dental arch, though I know there are some people who found their children's jaw structure changing as they switched to TF/really worked on foods that are important for teeth/jaws.

However, he definitely needs lots of vitamin k2, a and d. The best food sources of k2 are butter from cows fed rapidly growing green grass, natto, goose liver (especially foie gras I think), and butter oil from the same butter(well, it's a food based supplement). Also shellfish, other grass-fed dairy, other organ meats are good sources.

Thanks Magelet. It is reassuring to hear that some people have seen changes in their kids jaw structure. I will have to look into the foods you mentioned- we live in a small community in northern canada and finding sources for a lot of foods can be difficult. I do have a great raw goats milk source, and he loves the organic butter we get. I'll keep looking for what I can find locally. Off to look up natto and goose liver!

I know someone recently found a good online source of goose liver and posted it in TF. look through the past couple pages.

That was me who found the goose liver source! Here's the thread:

Unfortunately, the shipping really high unless you live in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska, or parts of Iowa. If you live in one of those states, please enjoy some goose liver for me!!
