I found this old thread and yes, I'm a DOOL addict. I have been a bit bored with the current SL lately though.
I have never been one that wanted Sami with a specific character, however, after the comment EJ said on today's episode, "Spoken like a true DiMera", I started thinking that I do want EJ and Sami together. But instead of EJ turning "good", I think that it's the perfect way to get the old coniving Sami back and have her turn more Dimera.

Anyway, just thought I would admit that I love the show. I would love to know anyone's ideas on how they should get more interesting SL.

I used to watch Days - for a looooong time, but stopped watching a few years ago, but yet I still feel the need to read threads like this. So with that said, I have to ask - why would Sami be a Dimera? Last time I checked in, she was Marlena and Roman's daughter and a Brady. I'm sure it is a comlicated story, but if you feel like answering, I would love to hear. Thanks!

Wow, this would be a LONG message if I did the whole background but here is the very abbreviated version.

Yes, Sami is the Daughter of Marlena and Roman Brady, however....
Sami has been married to EJ Dimera, and is now engaged to him again. Sami has 4 children at the moment. WIll Horton (father Lucas), Twins, Ali and Johnny (Ali's father is Lucas and Jonny's father is EJ....yes, twins with different dads) and a baby, Sydney (father is EJ).

Not sure if you stopped watching before EJ came on the show, but he is yet another one of Stephano's children, though he first appeared with the Name EJ Wells. (Mother is Susan Banks)


Right now, Sami has been living in the Dimera mansion and has JUST gotten engaged to EJ, though aparently, they are going to break up within the next month because Sami will find out that EJ was the one behind the kidnapping of their daughter Sydney b/c he wanted to get back at her for hiding her pregnancy by entering the witness protection program. (She fell in love with the agent protecting her, Rafe, and he is now part of the Sami, EJ love triangle).

I used to love to old Sami that was really rebellious, now they have turned her character into a whiner. I think that pairing her with EJ would allow her to show her devious side again.

Thank you for that only on DOOL convoluted story. I only knew of EJ, but not many details. I wish I had caught the episode where they said goodbye to Alice. Maybe I'll look for it on YouTube. So did Marlena and John really leave? Roman too? I'll have to sneak a peak on a soap opera website and see who is still around.

I'm a days fan too! Kinda bored with the SL as well. I just want Chloe to go down. I can't help it. I think its going to be a while though. And I am so tired of Sami. I used to really like her, but she and EJ were really grossing me out. I am glad Rafe broke that up.
