Birthday Party Food Ideas--Four Year Olds

Besides the usual challenges of feeding a mixed group of (sometimes picky- eating) young kids, we have some friends with food allergies coming to my daughter's bday party Saturday. The kids are nut allergic and gluten-intolerant, respectively. English muffin pizzas or grilled cheese will cover one but not the other. Already planning on snacks like hummus & pita chips/sliced peppers/baby carrots, fresh fruit skewers, cream cheese ants on a log, and cheese sticks. Any ideas for other easy finger foods that won't spoil quickly? I'm making guacamole w/chips and a cold quinoa salad for the grown-ups but not sure all the kids coming will eat these things (esp. my husband's spicy guac!). TIA!

veggie tray?
what about pizza on a GF crust?

Other than that it sounds like you have it pretty well covered already. How many kids are you expecting?

How many kids and what time? You could always grill up some hot dogs or chicken w/o sauce (for the gf kid) and have sauce on the side. A GF pizza crust is doable, but it'd be easier for you to find a mix of it than make it on your own. Also, some non-spicy guac for the kiddos

For a super easy GF crust what about using kamut pita bread or something similar.

Kamut isn't recommended for people allergic to wheat or have Celiac.

Good to know! What would be a good alternative?

Thanks for the suggestions. We decided to go with grilled cheese as well as the other things I listed in my OP. The gluten-free eater is a big veggie person, so I think she'll have enough snacks, plus I made gluten-free cupcakes.
