Baby Ada'a Homebirth (and video!)

My baby was born at the end of April, at home in our bed. I caught her myself!

I did a lazy job of Hypnobabies through out my pregnancy. It helped so much even though I only listened to the tracks while sleeping. I felt no pain, just pressure waves, until my water broke at nearly 10 cm. And then it was just extremely intense pressure and burning from pushing with the baby's hand on her ear and it didn't last long.

I've been in a state of bliss ever since her birth!

Absolutely amazing job, thank you so much for sharing your birth!

My niece is getting ready to have her first child and I have almost convinced her of natural childbirth. Would it be ok if I sent her a link to your story and video? What an encouraging opportunity it would be for her to see how fantastic it can really go!
You did great, how I wish they had videos like yours and others to have the teens watch in child development class in highschool rather than the scare tactic videos they are currently using.

Sure feel free to share it! The reason I decide to post it on the internet was because I watched so many similar videos that encouraged me, so I figured I should share mine in case it helps anyone else.

That was so cool! "What do I do?" : Makes me want to post my video, except that people are all in the way in parts of it. And I had a cold while in labor so my voice is all deep and scratchy instead of sweet and airy like yours is. Really a great video. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful I showed my 3 year old son the very end of the video where you are holding your daughter and your partner is behind you...he said "Is she a fairy" I thought it was so sweet.
