Frustrated and feeling selfish

DS has an issue with pasteurized dairy...he handles raw fine so that allows us to have local milk (which is great because it's healthier for us anyway). But, because he's still nursing I have to be super careful about what I eat. I know I'm preaching to the choir here...I have to read food labels and research restaurants before I eat something (including fast food places...did you know they put milk in fries???)

However, being pregnant means cravings. I'm craving things I can't have...like fast food curly fries (have dairy), pastries, etc... It sucks.

Add in that my supply has dipped so he dry nurses a lot and I really really want to just wean him. I feel terrible about that. I have mixed feelings on the subject...

SIGH I just wanted to complain to people that understand.

First off
Fwiw, Jack in the Box curly fries are supposedly dairy free (but may be cross contaminated but if that's not a worry...).
Also, here is a curly fry recipe that maybe you could just use on regular fries and get rid of the craving?
It's SO hard to be pregnant and restricted!

I looked it up and they have the ingredient info and it has milk listed...so yeah, irritating!

I bought some frozen from the store (wheat was the only allergen) and had those tonight.
