been there. my son was also hospitalized this year for impaction, after me fighting for weeks because he has autism and doesn't respond to pain "correctly". He now needs a daily adult dose of peg-powder to keep him going on a reasonable basis. Please find a new doctor before this becomes much worse, like a rupture.

My 2 yo has a chronic constipation problem. I never let her go more than 3 days without intervening, with either milk of magnesia or a glycerine suppository.

I keep her regular with flax seed oil in yogurt and she loves to eat figs. I also cut cows milk out of her diet and replaced it with goats milk. She seems to be ok with cheese and yogurt and I havent had to intervene for a month now.
