Head support in the Ergo

My almost-six-month-old daughter loves the Ergo more than anything. She gets excited when I pull it out and often it's the only thing that calms her when she's upset. Lately I've been wearing her in it for hours each day. The problem is I can't get much done when she's on the front so I wear her my back (which she prefers anyway). She has great head support... when she's awake... but what concerns me is when she falls asleep her head flops backwards such that her neck seems like it's almost at a 90 degree angle. That seems ungood. Does that mean she's still too little to be on my back?

Thanks.

Can you just pull the hood up and that should give her enough head support. My daughter liked to do this in the front, and she didn't mind at all, but I found myself holding her head up, then I just pulled the hood up.

I agree about the hood. The hood deff. helps. I use it a lot when DS is sleeping

That is when the hood comes in super handy! Anytime I feel DS nodding off on my back the sleeping hood goes up.

I use the hood and bed forward a little more than usual.

Yes, the hood - I pull it up when DS is asleep.

Awesome. Thanks for the group consensus! Now I just have to practice getting the hood up while she's on my back.
