Can anyone recommend a homebirth midwife for me? I'm having some trouble locating names. Thanks!

Do you know about www.nchomebirth.com? Apart from all sorts of great info, they have a form you can fill out that will help you find a MW--your details are sent out, and MWs contact you directly.

As I'm sure you know, CPMs are not licensed to attend births in NC (yet), so many mamas here are probably going to be reluctant to share their MWs' information with an online stranger. But PM me if you'd like to talk more!

My closest friend lives in Raleigh and absolutely is in love with her midwife. We were vacationing there last year when I had my miscarriage at 14 wks and her midwife helped get me through the 1st part of it all til we could get back home. I"ll ask and see if I can get her name and # again. She was wonderful with me and has a fairly large clientele.

Yes, I filled out the form, but haven't had any calls... yet. It has been almost a week, so maybe I just need to be patient?
