I have a pair of knit soakers (Kozy Wool) that are crunchy in the wet zone. I noticed last week they were crunchy, so I washed them and relanolized them, just thinking they were embedded with urine. But I just pulled them off the shower pole and they're crunchy again.
It's only this one pair, and it's only in the crotch. They're definitely not felted. I don't know what to think of it, but it's definitely crunchy.
Any thoughts on what it is and how I might fix it?
