So, I feel like I need to find a dr to really investigate my leg issues. I feel desperate and I have no idea what the cause is, no idea who to go to and no idea what to even have them look for. But, I can take 3 ibuprofen & 2 tylenol and it barely takes the edge off. Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on the symptoms??
I struggle with pain a lot, daily. I guess I'm focusing now on my legs but I have headaches/migraines, shoulder pain, hip pain/pelvic pain, etc. The leg pain was worse for a few years until I was finally correctly diagnosed with a misaligned pelvis. The alignment and physical therapy helped and I've haven't struggled with it since my ds was born in April. BUT, the pains are still there, just the old ones.
I had HORRIBLE leg aches as a child, frequently. Everyone always just said it was growing pains. I wonder now if it's related.
If I'm moving constantly the pain is better. But, as soon as I rest then try to move everything is stiff and sore. I feel great in the morning, sometimes my knees are stiff, but the pain definately increases as the day goes on.
I can feel the pain in my lower back, knees and feet but I also have deep aching in my entire legs and feet.
I often wake up with numbness in my hands, I've had trouble with restless leg syndrome and my arms, shoulders have gotten progressively weak. I mean, I have to take breaks washing my hair (at least when it was longer) because I can't hold my arms over my head that long. My muscles seem to fatigue quickly but there's also the pain. Like right now I feel literal pain on the top of my thigh, not just the achiness.
I'm noticing everything more today because I worked in the nursery at our church's vacation Bible school all week for 4 hrs/day holding, walking and bouncing babies and I tell you, in the evenings I can hardly walk across the house.
I asked dh about it and he agreed that I'm correct in that these symptoms were still there even when I wasn't overweight. I feel like dr's totally blow me off because I'm overweight now (even though I've ONLY gained weight during my pregnancies, not in between). I know I need to lose weight but I feel like there's something more going on.
Any thoughts???
