How do you handle bad return emails? (aka: wrong email address etc)

It doesn't happen very often but once in awhile I get contacted and go to respond and either the email must have been entered incorrectly (working on adding a confirmation for this) or the mailbox is full of the person who sent it.

Sometimes I'm able to go to their website if they have one and find an alternative email or to confirm it, but what if there isn't another option? I hate not responding because I don't want someone thinking I'm ignoring them either. lol.

Am I the only one who has a hard time just sitting back and hoping they email again?

Social network groups rock! lol. Found one person on Twitter and sent a message from my business Twitter account to let them know the email hadn't worked. I think the big thing for me will be to revamp my forms to make the sender confirm the email address.
