Diet for toenail fungus and possibly athlete's foot?

Does anyone know what foods to eat and what foods to avoid to make athlete's foot/toenail fungus go away? Can diet alone cure it?
I've had toenail fungus which I've been trying to cure with tee tree oil(no results) now my feet are red and itchy and peeling. I'm 8 months pregnant, so I'd prefer to treat it the natural way rather than with meds.
Any advice?
BTW, I just started eating loads of brewer's yeast for the b vitamins. Might that have aggravated the infection already in my toes and caused it to spread to my skin?
(I know, I know... TMI and Gross)

i had nail fungus for years on one toe and tried the over the counter stuff which never worked, honestly i hope this isn't tmi, but i read breastmilk helps and rubbed a little on it and also some vic's vapo rub and the fungus cleared right up. So maybe try the vic's for now and if if that doesn't help, try some breastmilk after you have your baby. I only applied them both, not at the same time, once a day for about a week and my nail fungus has been gone for 3 years now. I'm not sure if it was the vic's, the breastmilk or both that healed it, since i tried them both at the same time, I've also heard coconut oil used topically can cure nail fungus.

Well since fungus is usually contributed to yeast issues I would eliminate sugar even fruit. You could look into something like the candida diet BUT Maybe not the best idea since you are pregnant. maybe its something to look into later. Of course getting rid of sugar wouldn't hurt Biotin is good for yeast issues as well. You can take pretty high doses safely not sure while pregnant. I've been taking 10 mg a day.

My DH uses Neem oil topically on his, and it works great. You have to be very consistent with it though...he says consistently at least twice a day for it to work, and more often if you can.

What about vinegar or hydrogen peroxide on the nails?
