Coconut oil question

I just finished up some tropical traditions gold label coconut oil. When I bake with it, it tastes very coconutty. I don't really care for it. Are all coconut oils alike or are some less coconutty than others?

There is a difference in flavor of unrefined coconut oil. I prefer Tropical Traditions personally, but I like more coconut flavor, even in things like pizza dough.
Nutiva seemed milder and less coconutty. If I recall correctly, Mountain Rose Herbs was about the same in flavor as Nutiva, but I'll let others chime in on that. I didn't have any of these oils at the same time, so it's hard to say.

The refined stuff doesn't taste like anything to me, but it's also not as good for you, I don't think.

I use the refined coconut oil (that's what I have easy access to) and there's no coconut taste. It's not as good for you as unrefined, of course, but it's a heck of a lot better than vegetable oil!

I also only use the refined stuff. No taste/smell. I have some unrefined, but I really don't like the flavor, in anything. I use it on my hair .
