Do you always get a positive OPK on a certain day before O?

Do you always get positive OPKs on the same certain day in your cycle? Like do you always get a positive 2 days before you Ovulate, or maybe you always get a positive 1 day before Ovulation, or maybe always on the actual day of Ovulation? And is it okay either way? It seems confusing and strange to me.

I haven't really seen much of a pattern with this on my charts.

I've had a positive OPK:

3 days before Ovulation = once

2 days before Ovulation = six times

1 day before Ovulation = four times

On the actual day of Ovulation = once

If my chart is correct, then I get 2 days of +OPKs and then ovulate on the 3rd day. You can O anywhere from 12-36 hours after a +, so any of those days you have experience would be OK.

In the last cycles, i have ovulated about 6 hours after a pos opk. (as measured by ovary pain and subsequent cessation of cervical mucous) This cycle, i got the ovary pain at 2h30 am, about 30hours after the pos opk. I wish i knew if there was a pattern.

I say 2h30 am because that was the time when i had the usual symptoms of O.

I usually O the next day sometime, but I don't know exactly when. I get a few days of light (almost +) OPKs before I get the dark line.
