Vaccination evidence good and bad

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find solid evidence/stats to show how often a child gets any of these sicknesses/diseases that have ended up with them serious enough to require them to be hospitalized, cause long term problems or death, not the stats on the child getting the disease and it running it's course at home with no long term side effects, only the severe cases, and only children not adults or elderly people. Also info on which ones were vaccinated and which ones weren't. And can you point me to a place I can find out the same info when a vaccination for a particular disease is given. In other words, I vaccinate my child for DTP and my child ends up with long term health problems (including autism, asthma, etc.., is hospitilized due to a reaction and/or dies because of the vaccine. I know about the Vaers website, does anyone have any suggestions on how to navigate that thing in the most efficient way possible to get the stats. I am so sick of doctors down playing the dangers of vaccines and scaring the crap out of you about how your child is going to die from the chicken pox. I want to do a study and have the hard facts/numbers in front of me to lay out the risks either way. The Vaers website is full of deaths from vaccines, it just seems that the whole arguement about the risk of death being rare cannot really be the truth. What is the best book, video, info you have ever read or seen about the truth on vaccines?

I really liked The Aviva Romm and Dr. Sears Vaccine books. Both explain the diseases and don't pressure you one way or the other. They are also geared for the breastfeeding mother. There is also a book called The Guide to Vaccinnes or something like that that is VERY straightforward and unbiased listing pros and cons. There are pros AND cons to all vaccines. Some sites make it seem like there are only pros or cons, but with anything you really have to weigh the risk vs benefit for your family.
