We have the Strider and ds loved it. He was balancing and gliding down hills from age 3. He hopped right on a regular bike this summer and pedaled on the first day. He's on the short side and the Strider was the perfect height for him.
The only issue we had with the Strider was that one of the rubber handlebar covers eventually wore through and the metal edge was exposed. We covered it with heavy electrical tape.
