Toxic essential oil in my dish soap solution

This week I have started making my own dish soap and household cleaner. To add fragrance and cover up the vinegar smell I used an essential oil. I took like 30 minutes smelling and deciding which one to buy and finally decided on yummy wintergreen. So I get home and read an article on essential oils and it said that Wintergreen is a toxic oil. Should I trash this oil and buy another oil to put in my dish soap or am I just being paranoid? I wasn't sure what amount is considered toxic. I put about 10 drop in the soap solution. Is that enough to cause damage when it is absorbed through my skin while washing dishes? Should I throw away this oil and get another one?

Is it pure 100% wintergreen essential oil?

I have read in numerous places that it is toxic. I have also read in several places that some things labeled wintergreen are really something else (I've forgotten that "something else", though).

I would research it more before deciding what to do. Call the place where you purchased it...read more on the topic...check the label again...call the company who produced it....etc...
