Treating Thrush Rash

We are currently treating thrush and our son has developed the rash that is associated with it. I was told it might get worse when we initially start treatment. I'm putting GroBaby's Magic Stick on him and doing soaks in warm water for a few minutes each day.

However, the rash has started to peel and I don't know if this is a good thing or bad. The skin is smooth underneath, but it's so painful to look at. Should we start the Desitin cream with disposable liners in our CDs or is the magic stick doing it's job?

Thanks in advance for sharing your expertise.

I don't know what the magic stick is, but my daughter just got over a really bad yeast rash. We treated it with clotrimazole cream and one or two days after starting the treatment, the rashy patches peeled. A day or two after that, the redness and spots went away very quickly. The peeling never seemed to bother her.
