I'm pretty sure that this is common for this age, but it is really difficult to deal with. I was hoping for some pointers. DS is 8.5 months old. We are pretty much nursing exclusively with a teeny amount of solids a couple times a week.
Lately even at home, he'll only nurse for his naps and bedtime. I offer many times a day and he isn't interested.
But, when we are out and about he just won't nurse. I know he's hungry. I really only try in the car unless we are at someone's house. But, he just fights me. Obviously I can't force him so we end up just having to come home.
At this point, I try to pump before we go somewhere for too long and hope that he'll take the bottle (which sometimes he won't even do).
Any tips? Pointers? Suggestions? It would be nice to leave the house for more than a couple hours at a time.
