Have you built an herb spiral?

I am planning out my garden for next year (big ol' piece of lawn now) and I would very much like to incorporate an herb spiral. I have looked up a few articles, googled some great pics, but I have never spoken with anyone who has actually made one.

If you have, would you mind sharing your process with me? How big did you make yours? Do you like the size? What materials did you use? What did you do that you liked, and what might you do differently if you built one again?

Wow, those are really cool. It doesn't look very hard to make and you could be really creative with it.
