I am trying so hard to be zen and I am failing miserably. Last night I had a bunch of bloody show and mucus and regular, yet piddly contrx for 4-5 hours. I thought surely this will bump me over the edge. Nope. Still pregnant. Tonight I am crampy, 4 cm and mostly effaced, and I just scrubbed the floor. Yet I suspect I will once again wake up pregnant tomorrow. Bleh. I am coming up on my original due date, but still a week away from my current EDD that the midwife is using. I am tired of drinking floradix and shoving EPO up my girly parts twice a day. Done I tell ya!

Did I miss any?

I made those labor cookies today, to freeze, right? Because I'm not impatient, right? So I ate four of them and they immediately gave me a bunch of bh contractions. Nothing serious, but I imagine if I at a mess of them, or had eaten more of them a while later, something could happen. I'm giving my baby boy the benefit of the doubt for now, that he's waiting for some good reason. (Right?)

I guess yelling "get out" to my belly is not going to get her to come out .

No contractions, no nothing, but my dd turns 4 tomorrow, so the exit is officially closed until Wednesday.

May make those labor cookies....

Today's annoyances or "signs"

extra puffiness -- it's the first day I really had to take off my ring
extra mucus -- maybe a bit tinged with blood
extra crampiness
loose stools
extra sleepy
nausea
periodic backache
spaced out

I'm taking this as a good sign even if labor is not right around the corner, because it has me thinking it might be no more than a week off. And at any rate, something is happening, right?

That's what I'm trying to tell myself too AmyKT! I noticed I'm crabby and nauseated, a ew others you mentioned sound familiar too. Then again, it's just me looking for any sign that it's happening so....Le Sigh.....

Hey Gals, just checking in as I've had some similar signs as you now that the weekend is over. It was sooo good to get out of the house today and out of this inertia we'd been in over the weekend, not going too far JUST IN CASE. Today I was like SCREW THAT. If I have the baby at the side of the road, it'll be a great story. Let's just get out!

I'm kind of sick of cataloguing all my symptoms. Suffice to say they come and go, like they have all along. I had sharper, more intense pain in my cervix at night that woke me, then nothing. Started back on the RRL tea today. Just bought some more pineapple. Took EPO. Sigh. Twiddle twiddle....

I'm happiest when I'm distracted right now, let me tell ya. Over the weekend we had a lot of fun taking the kids to the park to fly some new kites we got (a butterfly and a rainbow coloured dragon). COME ON BABY..... PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, anybody else think we should start another thread? Like refresh the stash of us who are still waiting? I find this thread so long... it's just a thought, I will continue here happily if everyone else wants to.

My official due date is tomorrow, so I can't go much longer!
You should try these "jump start your labor cookies" (http://www.shoppingfortwo.com/Articl...tercookies.htm) They worked for me, and they were a great way to get my mind off of the prodromal labor (my ctx were every 20 minutes for hours). They are really good too...even my 3 yr old was munching on them saying "momma, my mouth is really hot...but can I have more of these cookies". It was priceless. Good luck.
