Lingering Linea Negra?

Not a huge deal I realize but I just wonder if the super dark axis line down my belly will go away or not and in how long? It's like a tattoo. On a related note, the strangest thing is that my belly is super tan but I've not exposed it to any sun. DH and I are a bit baffled by it...like Hawaiian Tropic tan. Again, not a huge deal but inquiring minds are wondering. Anyone?

Hah, not sure about Hawaiian Tropic but the linea nigra is normal. Mine took forever to go away last time, maybe 4-6 months? I ended up trying to scrub it off with rubbing alcohol and it kinda worked since eventually it's just dead skin. DD pointed at my brown belly button the other day and said "it's dirty" and I had a hard time explaining that it's not!

My linea negra is still there and I've had clients who have had theirs linger for quite a while. I think that is pretty normal.

My belly is it's normal WHITE, but the skin on my breasts got darker with pregnancy... go figure! Not just the areolas, the whole breast. Skin pigmentation changes are pretty normal during pregnancy and my doc said they might go away or might not.

I also got a large, dark freckle on the end of my nose!

Still got my linea Negra too. If I remember correctly with ds it started to fade around 6 months pp.

I didn't have that dark line during pregnancy (that I noticed) but then it shows up a few weeks pp... very strange. I guess it was just so faint that I was only able to see it after my skin wasn't so stretched.

Me too. It was very faint this pregnancy but it's very visible now. Mine go away around 5-6 months pp.

I didn't think I had one. Neither DH or I could see it while I was preggo, and low and behold I've got it pp

I had a crazy dark one with DD. when it finally became dead skin I was so grossed out by how much came out of my bellybutton!

On another note, my "mask of pregnancy" got so much worse with this pregnancy and I am chagrined thinking th at it will be around forever.

Mine didn't show up until after baby was born too and its super dark right now at 5 weeks pp! And my tummy looks tan while the rest of me is white! Interesting!!

Honestly, I don't know if my linea negra fully went away in between my two pregnancies! I swear there was still a shadow of it left when I got pregnant with Ilan, 21 months after Wren was born!

Strangely I had no noticeable line while pregnant (both times) and once my belly deflated there it was. I think mine didn't go away fully for at least 7-8 months. It isn't super dark, but I am super pale so it is fairly noticeable.

My moles also get a lot darker when I am pregnant but eventually they get lighter again.

I had one with my twins and it was very dark, but did not get one with this pg. I do, however, still have the brown stuff in my navel from this pg that others have referred to - DP also mentioned to me that it was "dirty" not realizing what it was. It kind of flakes out as the skin sheds.
