Ok, Mamas- 5 days to do 3 things! (This is my way of motivating myself...someone please join me!!!)

Mine are:
-Sort through my clothes/organize closet
-Declutter shelves in our bedroom
-Take donations to Goodwill

Post your 3 things and then post back here when you're done!

Yes I will join you, and funnily enough one of my goals for this week is identical to yours!

1. Sort through boxes of craft materials.
2. Declutter shelves in our bedroom
3. Work out which videos and DVDs to give away

There is so much I need to do its almost overwhelming. I think Im going to start in the front of the house and work my way back. This week if I had to choose 3 it would be:
- Go through the coat and storage closets in the living room
- Go through the drawers in the kitchen and china hutch (I honestly dont' know what are in any of these drawers)
- Get rid of the three bags of stuff I have sitting in the living room

The local thrift store does 50% off on the first weekend of every month so Im hoping to make it down there this weekend, drop off some donations and pick up some new books for the girls (we had some flooding issues with one of our bathrooms and it ruined a bunch of their books).

1. sort out and put away the kids games in DDs room (we took down the wardrobe they were in to make way for a new desk this weekend)

2. buy some new wash cloths for hands and faces (our current ones have been relegated to floor cloths)

3. Organise our under stairs space, getting rid of outgrown shoes and makeing a place for sunhats and other summer bits and bobs.

Well I got the kids videos and DVD's done already.

16 DVDs going to the childrens hospital cancer ward tomorrow.

Too many videos to count going to goodwill tomorrow.

envelope and stamps. I've got the info ready that I need to send- I just need to send it!

2)Clear off my desk

3) Clean the finished basement- mostly needs quick pickup and vacuuming
3a) declutter the floor area of the unfinished part/laundry area

3. Organize upstairs hallway closet.

I have a lot I want to get done this week but the top 3 things would be:

1. Clear out hutch, I have no idea what is in it and I just posted it for sale so hopefully that gives me some motivation!!

2. Organize DVDs so the kids stop throwing them all over the place

3. Deal with the giant pile of 0-3 month clothing currently piled on the floor of the nursery

1. Clear out my overstuffed closet

2. Freecycle superfluous clothing from #1, car seat taking up space in the living room, misc. personal care products that I'll never use

3. Unpack/shelve (is that a word?) 10 boxes of books

So glad to have some support and accountability!! I need you all

OK- Shelves in the bedroom are *almost* done.
1 task down, 2 to go!

I have a ton of goals b/c my IL's are coming this weekend.

The top 3 would be:

- Finish organizing the family closet and hang up/put away all clean clothes (there are two piles currently in the living room).

- Clean out and declutter the master bedroom as it's where they will be staying. This includes the master bathroom, closet, and patio.

- Organize and declutter the kids' playroom. It's not too bad currently, but there is a lot that they don't even touch that I need to rotate with stuff in totes in the garage (or donate).

My goal for today is the family closet, since I didn't finish it this weekend as hoped.

We just moved into a new house ten days ago, so we're still organizing. My three things are:

- take several boxes to garage
- clean furniture in garage and move them into the house
- wipe out upstairs closets so I can start using them

Good idea!

1. That box at the bottom of the stairs. It's been there for 2 months and NEEDS TO GO AWAY.

2. Schedule goodwill pick-up and get the 2 boxes out of the living areas...DS keeps box-diving and rediscovering baby toys!

3. Baby clothes (already in my car!), and baby activity center to Once Upon a Child.

Those three things will make me SO HAPPY!

Great Thread!

1. Help dd figure out how to organize the new toys she got for her birthday.

2. Find the dining room table.

3. Get rid of the empty boxes floating around in the dining room and living room.

1. Get my winter clothes put away (I know, I know!!)

2. Fold and put away 4 baskets of clean laundry

3. Spend some time sorting, filing and dealing with bills/paper

Made appt for goodwill pick-up and moved the 2 boxes. So #2 is done!

#1 is my nemisis. But hey, it used to be 2 boxes! Ok ok. I'll do #1 tonight. It's a 5 min job to bring it upstairs and put the things away.

2) Once bed is gone, finish sorting all items in guest room into Keep, Donate, Sell, and Trash boxes.

3) Take donate boxes to charity by the end of the week.
