I did EC with my DD for quite a while when she was between 9 and 14 months old. We got so that she was going pee on the potty a few times a day, and most of her poops were going in the potty. Then I stopped offering as much because I was pregnant and tired, and blahblahblah. You know how it goes. Now I have a newborn (10 weeks old, actually), and he uses the potty more than the 2 year old does.
Any suggestions for getting the 2 year old back on the potty? She'll watch me go, she'll watch him go. She puts her dolls on the potty. She just won't sit on it, and when she does she won't go. On the rare occasions she'll sit on the potty she'll get up and pee on the floor 30 seconds later.
I know I'm putting too much pressure on her. I need to back off, but at the same time, I want to keep encouraging her to try. She's mainly wearing pull-ups now, and she doesn't care about being wet in them. I have cloth trainers but she refuses to wear them and she won't go naked. I've even resorted to hiding the pull-ups but then DH got mad because he couldn't find them when he needed to get her ready to leave the house!
Any suggestions?
