Hi ladies. I'm new here. Due a baby in Dec, officially the 5th Dec, but I'm telling people Christmas time, since I always go late.

I had 4 hospital births and one home birth. We're hoping for a home birth again this time. (I have one little girl in Heaven, SIDS).

I thought I'd be ok to not do the message board thing this time, but I really miss the daily obsessing with other ladies about the pregnancy. So I hope you all will let me crash your party.

Wow, we have a lot of twins on this board. How exciting. I must admit, I've hoped for twins this time. My uterus seems so much higher and bulgier earlier this time, which made me start to wonder. Plus there is a ton of movement for just 16/17 weeks. And I just had that feeling, thinking double yanno? But seeing as there are so many twins here already, I'm thinking the twins quota for Dec must be filled already, so I'm more doubtful now hehe.

We won't find out the gender until birth, we've always done it that way. I have 4 wee girls (3 on earth) and one wee boy. I'll be thrilled whether this one is a boy or a girl. I'm so excited to be having another one.

I too have 4 girls (three on earth) and a boy.
After giving birth to 5 full term babies my uterus is very roomy. I am 14w5d and my uterus is right below my belly button. Getting the twins question already. I have been asked this question every time though, even with my first. I have big babies and gain (and lose) a lot each time, so I look big! Dh and dcs would love it if we had twins. I am not sure how I feel. It would be wonderful but overwhelming!

I'm due 12/22, but we've been telling people "by the 2nd week of January". None of my babies have come before their due dates, and my 4th was my latest!

Mine's Due 11/29 but I'm telling people late Nov/dec...

I am figuring one of two things will happen--either I'll go crazy making Thanksgiving dinner and that and the eating of it will put me into labor that Thurs. evening and the babe will be born Fri. AM officially...

I'll go over like I did with DS2 and have this one the first Fri. in Dec. (partly because my b-day is Sept. and then the kids are Oct. Nov. and Jan. no Dec.)

Why Friday? Because my 3 other kids were all born on Friday. Guess my body likes Friday??
