There's no crying when nursing...I wish!

During the last couple of days, my LO has started pitching a fit about 5 minutes into a feeding. He gets PISSED and I have a hard time calming him down. I try to keep him on and he nurses intermittently while trying to cry but never really settles and eats. I tried compressing, changing positions, frequent burping attemps and nothing has made a difference. I went to my BF group today and he fussed a bit but I was able to get him to eat better than he has been.

I don't think it is a quantity issue since he got 6 oz in about 15 minutes. That is pretty good for a 7 week old.

What can I try to get him to eat without turning into an angry red gremlin?

My 5 week old is doing the same thing. She doesn't do it while lying down at night though... No idea what's up- i wish i could figure it out though!

When mine does that he is peeing or pooping. If I change his diaper all is well in the world again.
