Well, 7 years ago DH had a vas. rev. and we conceived but miscarried within the first 8 mo. of the rev. We did some infertility treatments but gave up and adopted our baby 5 years ago. Needless to say we have not been trying for 5 years but not avoiding sex either. Well, here I am 1 week late but neg. tests. I should mention I turn 40 tomorrow so we haven't even thought about getting pregnant and are satisfied with our family. I should also mention we do have two bio daughters 20 and 18 that I had no problem conceiving, hence the vas. *LOL* So, what are the chances of becoming preg. after 7 years?

I'm not sure if this is in the right forum (maybe TTC is the better forum?). But, here's my 2 cents...
It all depends on when you BD'd! If it was around O time (and you only know for sure from temping), then there is a chance (if there is quality sperm ejaculated).
Did your DH have a semen analysis done after the reversal? What were the results?
It could also be that you aren't late at all, you just O'd late. Do you have a chart?

I'm super curious about how this has turned out! (??)
*I*'d probably be wondering if things were just starting to go a bit wonky in anticipation of menopause down the road, but you never can really tell, hey? Are you just going to wait it out and see? (I think I'd go loopy with wanting to know!) You could go in for a blood beta... and then post the results.
I hope it turns out the way you want it to!

I finally got my period today on CD 48! We are just assuming it was delayed due to stress( I lost my elderly cat a little over a week ago to slow renal failure). Now I can sigh and go back to living the usual life with secondary unexplained infertility. I wish you all the best as I know how tedious this road is.
