Another way to check CM

Hi Guys, I know this is probably a insane question, but...

Is there another way to check cm besides using my finger. I'm so prone to infection down there, and I'd love a sterile way to check CM. I don't have enough that it comes down by itself. I tried a long q-tip, but the cotton soaked up the cm. So I'm being so anal about scrubbing and washing my fingers etc, and I've already gotten a uti and yeast infection. I have a long post BD cleansing ritual too!!

I don't know, but I use alcohol wipes on my fingers first--maybe that would help?

It'd be kind of odd, but maybe you could try wearing gloves?! I have no idea if that's even a good idea or what, but it seems like it might work.

Callie: GLOVES!!! I can't believe I didn't think of that... Callie you are a genius!!!

Blanca78: Alcohol wipes...smart thinking. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only disinfecting one out there.

I would personally go by what is on the tissue paper... but as for checking CP (where you have to have your hand up in there) I would only do it at the end of my shower when I KNOW my hand is clean.

I often don't have much come down either, so I have to get up in there . I think Callie's idea of gloves is excellent!

Just a thought...but maybe you're doing a little too much cleaning, and that might be leading to uti's and especially yeast problems? (Along the lines of the fact that a douche can actually interfere with a woman's own balance of ph and helpful bacteria and whatnot down there.) For instance, I bet using a q-tip introduces more foreign bacteria that using a clean finger...but that's simply an idea I had when reading your post... Good luck with everything!!
