Quick question about circ

I'm not planning on adopting anytime soon, but it may be in our future. We will very likely be going the domestic (US) infant adoption route. As far as circumcision goes...who makes that decision? Does the potential adoptive parent have a say, or is it all up to the biological mother?

All medical decisions are 100% the mother's right to choose until termination of parental rights has taken place. Since circing is a big deal to you, it would be something I would suggest discussing in your profile or when you meet an expectant mother who is considering you. That way you can find someone who either shares your convictions or doesn't care either way. Someone who feels strongly about having her son circed is not a good match for you!
