Chances of Pregnancy?

So, I shouldn't be nervous, and I know that there is nothing anyone can tell me for sure, but I want to know what you wise ladies think!

I am a little over 5 months PP. Exclusively breastfeeding. Baby uses a pacy, but also nurses whenever he wants (usually does not go more than 4 hours, including at night). I have not had my first PP AF.

DH and I have been using condoms, but about a week ago, we didn't. Now I have been having some mild cramping for the past two days, but no sign of AF. I'm a little nervous! Is my first PP AF on the way? Am I pregnant? I would be SHOCKED if I was, but I can't help worrying a bit! Any thoughts?

It is definitely possible you could be prego. Though I did read that when AF comes back early, you often don't ovulate until after your first AF. You are more likely to O first if fertility returns much later. My sister in law got pregnant VERY soon after giving birth to my nephew, before she ever got her period again. I'd give it a week or so and take a pregnancy test to be sure.

Exclusive BF (LAM) is 98 or 99 percent effective the first three months, and 97 or 98 percent effective months 3-6 if the following three requirements are met:

1. Baby gets ALL nutrition at the breast, no paci's, no bottles (even expressed breastmilk)
2. Baby is under six months old.
3. Baby eats at least every 4 hours during the day and every six hours at night.

From what I see, you are meeting ALL the requirements except use of the pacy. The good news is that only takes the effectiveness down a few more percentages

So there is about a 94% chance you are NOT pregnant and a 6% chance you are

About the cramping and no sign of ..........very VERY common! I had cramp so bad sometimes I would have to take something. A lot of times it is just your body TRYING to O, but not really getting there.

I am almost positive you are not preggo, but take a test in about two weeks after the oops to make sure! (if you want of course!)
