Has anyone used black tea as an organic pesticide?

I heard that some people have sprayed black tea on their plants to fight all the unwanted pests and it worked. Anyone have experience with this?

Nope, I have not tried it, but I agree with pp, go ahead and see if it works!


I'm dealing with cucumber bugs, cabbage beetles and now white powdery mold on my squash and dukes....
Maybe I'll try it too!
