When Cramping Starts, is it all Over?

I'm on CD30/13DPO. Last night, mild cramping started and it's still there this morning. No spotting or anything. Are cramps a for-sure sign AF is about to make an appearance? My temp went up this morning, so that is throwing me off a little (I would have expected a drop in prep for AF). Here is my chart. Any thoughts would be great.

No, cramps are NOT a sure fire sign that AF is coming.

I had such bad implantation cramping with DS1 it woke me out of a sound sleep and I thought I was MCing. I called my OB the next day, and he said it sounded like i had a cyst that popped while implanting.

I also felt like I had a mild period during the second month of both my pregnancies.

That looks like a great chart. When are you testing?

Test, Test, Test!

I cramped SO bad the day after AF was due this cycle that I was convinced my lines were flukes.

Cramps are a totally normal and healthy part of early pregnancy for many women (even those that never cramped before, I do not remember it with DS or DD!)

I cramped from implantation, about 9dpo till I was nearly 8 weeks preggo, everything is perfectly fine with me and my babies.

I also have had some stronger sharp pains on the side I ovulated from and now we can see I formed a luteul cyst there. It's not to bad and I'm sure it will resolve itself, though it might hurt a lot more when it first does, for better or worse I have had cycts in the past and at least be about the recognize that feeling and not freak about it.

oh MAN, it's stories like that that make me keep hoping. I SO want to be the person with that story! The lady that gets a negative blood test at 13dpo but still doesn't have her period and then finds out she's having a baby. Can that PLEASE be me?! Sorry...thread hijacking. *slaps own hands*

GaleTX, hang in there! Unfortunately, until AF shows there is no clear answer to our agonized waiting.

With DS2 I was late so I took a test and got a bfn. Then I started cramping so I thought ok, it's coming. But AF didn't. I started excersizing to try and induce AF since I already had the cramping. Three days later still no AF so I took a test (thinking for sure it would be -). After about 2 minutes I didn't see a line so I left the test on the counter and took a shower. Got out and started doing my normal hygien routine not even thinking about the test because I had written it off as a bfn and out of the corner of my eye I saw a BFP sitting on my counter lol. I almost fell over.

However I know one other time I was late and I started cramping but I was so stressed and obsessed with getting a BFP that I think I delayed my period. I finally went into the OB and had an ultrasound and blood test done and the very day they verified I was not pregnant I actually started my period.

Cramps dont mean it was a bad cycle. It just means your body is doing something.

Good luck to you. Hope you get your BFP this cycle.
