Spinach in Smoothies

Thread Starter
DH and I are trying to get on the healthy wagon and also lose weight.
Im going to see if he can survive on a fruit smoothie and cheese and crackers or something like that for his lunches cause right now he takes lunch meat pretty much every day and I know its not good for you!!
So questions-
Whats your favorite GOOD TASTING smoothie with spinach in it? RECIPES?? Have you ever done a chocolate/peanut butter/banana smoothie with spinach in it? Could you taste it?
Whats some other stuff I can make filling smoothies out of???

I like: 1 banana, 1 head kale (main ribs removed), and something acidic - pineapple or orange juice. Love it. I don't do well with spinach, but we all love kale smoothies here.

I don't have a real recipe, just throw stuff into the blender until it tastes good and is the right consistency. I use whole milk yogurt (sometimes, if I want it to be more filling), carrot juice, orange juice, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen mango, two big handfuls of fresh spinach (or frozen if we are out of fresh), vanilla and honey OR two scoops of protein powder. Can't taste the spinach at all.

I make fresh fruit smoothies for my kids atleast once a week. Usually banana and strawberry, sometimes blueberries, rasphberries and bananas, always with fresh baby spinach thrown in. It might make it a funny color, but you cant taste it at all. The kids LOVE THEM. Just some ice and water for the slushy part.
