Hello all!
We are going to Germany in July and now we are considering visiting one other country as well. Germany will be very mellow. Where else should we go?
Any other travel tips would be awesome as well, this is our first time on such a trip with our son. I am nervous and excited!

What part of Germany will you be in? If you're in the south, I'd recommend Lucerne, Switzerland. The entire country is beautiful, but Lucerne in particular, is a lovely lake town in the mountains. I have not been there with kiddos, but it seemed quite family-friendly.

We took a Baltic Capitals cruise one year ago with our 14-month old DS. We really enjoyed Rostock and Warenemunde, Germany. The pace up along the Baltic was easy, the people were incredibly friendly. If you're in the north, and can get to Denmark, we also had a really nice time in Copenhagen. Lots to do, easy to get around.

HAVE FUN!
