How long did your 9-10 month sleep disturbance last??

Please tell me it's not that long! I know it depends on the baby but I am seriously struggling to get any sleep right now...DS has been fairly easy to put to bed about 95% of the time since he was born (nurse and off he goes), but right now he is even having a hard time going down, waking about every hour to nurse or cuddle, and napping horribly too.

It ends? : My 17 month old sounds like that...except she's never been fairly easy to put to bed. :

omgoodness I don't need to hear that!! Up until now he had at least been sleeping 2-3 hour stretches the majority of the time. Well something will have to change if this doesn't go away. I am trying to find work from home which I think will make it a little easier. I could nap with him during the day and get some work done at night.

Sleep disturbance? Eh- in our case he's never been a great sleeper, but he's now 9.5 months old and last night he STTN for the first time ever! (midnight to 5 am!) Yay!

i have twins... for one of them, i'd say he wasn't sleeping well from like 6-13ish months. the other... 6-15 months. he was SO much worse than his brother - as you're describing the whole time. since i night-weaned, he's been sleeping through the night like magic. but i definitely wasn't doing that @ 10mos... so much developmental stuff going on.

it will get better - this is only temporary!

Mine didn't recover until they were both a couple of months past their 2nd birthdays.

my ds is 10 1/2 months now and for the last couple of weeks has NOT been sleeping... it is driving me absolutely batty! he never was a good sleeper, but this is just BEYOND what I ever imagined it would be! most nghts he is waking every 15-20 mins to be rocked... he'll stay asleep for at least an hour if I just get in bed with him, but I don't want to go to bed at 7pm! His naps are just out the window, no hope there. He's too big for his Kanoe now (he stands in it) and will only nurse to sleep, so I am on call 24/7 for this kid.

Does this end?! I'm seriously about to lose my mind...
