Did anyone see this Soledad O'Brien special on CNN the other night? I saw it and thought it was interesting -- I was particularly interested in the surrogate mother's story. To see her reactions shift over time was fascinating to me -- I'm sure that's such a huge emotional and physical challenge to undertake, and it was eye-opening to see her at first saying in an upbeat way, "It just feels like a good friend of mine is pregnant, not like it's happening to me" and then to see her feelings grow more complicated over time, especially when she learned that little Nicholas is the last baby she'll ever be able to have.

Anyway, I know that didn't address the main point of the piece, gay adoption, in the least, but for some reason that's the part that jumped out at me the most. There were some sad moments in the fathers' stories, like when Tony revisited his hometown and showed the "TBIG" written everywhere. And it was hilarious when they were tasting the baby food at the shower and Tony just barreled through them all.

What did you guys think?
