NAK - which I forgot how hard this is, lol!

My doc let us go home Thursday insead of waiting the std 3 days!!

I cant sit here much longer, but I wanted to give an update, since we're now home. Warren is perfect. He has dimples on both sides that come out when he fusses!!!

Although not what we wanted, the c-section went fine, except that I got a spinal headache as a result. They did an Epidural BloodPatch, which was a painful procedure that cured the headache... for all of 12 hours. It's back, which means I'm supposed to stay laying down as much as possible. We all know how much fun that is, esp. w. a newborn. Hes nursing a lot, but Im having some minorish issues with sore nipples, probanly mostly due to poor latch as a result of the horizontal position. It's actually better right now since I'm sitting up. I just have to weigh my options and decide which pain is most tolerable:headache, Neck/backache, incision, or nipples; then I either lie flat, recline, or sit up/stand accordingly, lol. It is definitely improving rapidly, though, and my in-laws stayed to get me settled yesterday and then went home with promises to return in 3 weeks, and my parents stayed to help with the house and DS1, which is a blessing. DH is great, but had a minor procedure yesterday himself, so it's good to have help for him.

Thanks for all the well-wishes and congrats, and to Mary for updating for me. I'll post again later. I'll also link some pics when I find my camera and download my SD card- hopefully tomorrow.

One day at a time Yaliina. Sounds like you are coping well and are in good spirits despite all the frustrations and pains!

So good to hear you have help from your mom and more help coming later.
