I'm debating whether or not I should buy a liner for the pool. I bought a La Bassine, it's never been used so I'm not worried about prior cleanliness. I have heard from others that cleanup is much easier and faster with a liner since there's nothing to wipe out afterward. Cleanup has been one of DH's hangups all along. I thought I'd at least look into it; I don't want to buy one if it won't make much of a difference. Just wondering what others have experienced!

Yep, go for it. Clean up is SO easy with a liner, and then you can use it again (or share it with friends) with no concern about cleaning it.
We have the BPIAB and to clean up, we have siphoned out as much water as possible, then my DH picked up what was left in the pool liner, dumped it outside (fertilized the grass!
), and tossed the liner itself. Done!
I've also loaned it to four other friends so far, and will use it again in November. Everyone has had their own liner (or two) so the pool itself is still clean.

A nice thing about not using a liner is you can use the handles. I really liked the handles in labor.
But....ours is still in the garage not cleaned out from three months ago so I can see how a liner would be nice for cleanup. We just rinsed the pool though but plan to use some disinfectant.

We got a liner (the one that goes with it) for our BPIAB and it was wonderful. Fit on perfectly and after the birth, after emptying the pool was actually completely dry inside. It was easy to put away and we're using it again this time around (and I got a new liner for it - $35).
Of course you could still use the handles.
The liner was fitted for the tub and included holes in just the right places for the handles.

With the fitted liner, the handles were all usable - and I did use them!
