Anyone have any updated info on this?  I'm due in January, living in Syracuse NY, and a for a number of reasons am planning a hospital birth at Crouse.  I'd really like to refuse the eye ointment and Hep B and possibly the Vitamin K (I'm still on the fence on this one and plan to allow it if the birth is at all traumatic).  It seems really backward to me that we cannot refuse interventions in this state, not by the choice of the provider or hospital, but by a state law.
