Just for fun... what do you think your child will be?

I was wondering if anyone else thinks about what their child will be when they grow up (not that they can't be anything they want) but just you thinking about it from things they like to do or habits or what ever?

dd: a poet or author of some kind. She LOVES to write and tell stories

ds#1: he will be like "Q" form James Bond, inventor of spy stuff, he loves gadgets and "spys"

ds#2: he will either be an X-game person or a drummer in a punk band. He is just so daredevilish and in your face!

So how about you?

So far, I think he may be:

A superhero
An actor (probably of the stage variety)
A soccer player
A Jackson Pollock style painter

He's very smart, but he's only 3, so it's hard to imagine any sort of intellectually-based career right now. :LOL

I asked him the other day what he was going to be when he grows up and he said a "drummer man." Sounds good to me!

OOOh how fun!

DS#1 will be some sort of rocket scientist/nuclear physicist /mathematical Nobel Prize winner

DS#2 will be lead singer in a grunge band.

And the thing is, I will truly be proud and happy for both of them!

DD1--definately a dancer and an actress
DS2--a deconstuctionist
DD3--maybe a comedian, she has an infectious laugh and LOVES to laugh and make people laugh
DD4--i dunno yet, he is REALLY strong and sometimes I wonder if he'll be a leader in some way

I reckon Tali will be a performer of some sort, maybe a muso or guitarist (he's got the air guitar down pat when my music's playing, he may even run away and join the circus.

Kayden.. something to do with computers :

shes obsessed with ours & can work one better then most adults.. I dont know if this is good or bad

sometimes I have to kick her off & tell her to go color or play with toys or something!

Ds will do something where he can talk a lot and order other people around. He is such a leader, and has so much charisma. Or he'll be driving a locomotive, as he's obsessed with trains.

Dd is so musical. She has an amazing voice and loves to play the guitar, and she's only 3. Or, something with reading, because she loves to read.

Well, based on dd's current interests, I think she may turn out to be a master chef, a doctor, an artist, or a librarian

Dd1 - a mom. That's been her dream for years (she's 9). When she is 21 she is going to adopt 9 yo blonde triplets. She also wants to be an astronomer, which I think would be perfect for her.

Dd2 is 3.5. Going by her love of nudity, I think she'll probably be a stripper :LOL . But she'd make a great lawyer.

DD is so strong and physically dextrous, she'll probably be athletic. And she has the sweetest, most nurturing side. For her first birthday her grandma got her a baby doll and she looked at it as if this was the toy she'd been waiting for all along! Now, at 18 mths, she's always kissing them and feeding them and getting me to nurse them. So I think she'll be a good mother. She love music and dancing, also... this is a dangerous topic for me, I could go on and on about all of her potential.

I think that my 10 year old will be a vet. She loves animals and has a natural interest in science as well.

My 4 year old, she's my strong willed one. I can see her as the CEO of her company. She's smart and has no problem standing up for herself and letting you know what she thinks. I've always said that while this may drive me nuts now, it will serve her well as an adult.

And Lily, my 18 month old, I think she maybe the next Kate Spade. LOL She has this obsession with hats (jackets, too) and loves to draw and color. So maybe she'll design her own line of clothing or accessories?
Either that or public speaking She has a big vocabulary for her age and loves to talk. Today she told me "I have a problem" after she stuck her toothbrush in the kitty litter box LOL Yes, I'd say that was a problem.

My son: I am not sure how this happened, but, a politician.

My daughter: Too soon to tell for sure, but from what we've seen so far, a Zen master.

my dd will be a dominatrix. She loves to tie people up and order boys around. And my mil is worried because every picture she takes of her, my dd is posing like a porn star. It's very disconcerting, cuz it sure doesn't look like it when you're taking the picture.

Seriously, she's very creative and has a knack for design. She's intelligent and sees things in a different way. So, artist, designer, band manager?

my ds is a charmer, he can smile and convince you of anything, and he's only 21 mos. He loves making people laugh. And his mission in life is to climb anything taller than himself. Hmm, mayor, mountaineer, motivational speaker?

This is funny.

I think my ds will be a scientist. He is 5 and when we go to the library he heads over to the science section to pick out his books instead of the kids section. So far he has read almost every book on the Earth, volcanos, dinosaurs, ecology, marine mammals and even a bit on weather. He is very concerned about the effect pollution is having on our environment and has come up with some ideas to "stop the polluters" although they are a bit far-fetched right now

It is adorable to see him explaining things he has learned to adults who later come up to me and ask if what he said is true because they really had no idea!

I used to joke that my daughter was going to be 'Chief Justice Justice B........... of the United States Supreme Court....

but that was because of her name! I also think she would love to order people around...she can be a bossy little thing! She can be what ever she wants, but I sincerely hope that she isn't the first female Pres of the US....I see bad things happening for that person.

It's probley too soon to tell, but right now he loves being the center of attention. If someone even looks at him, his whole world lights up. So I am thinking actor or a doctor.

Well as of late, my dd has been playing "Priest" and my ds has been nursing his dolls (maybe I'm doing something wrong?: )

Seriously- if you ask them dd says "A Doctor who takes care of mommy's with babies in their tummy's, a basketball girl, a mechanic, and a dancer" (oh please let her not be an exotic dancing priest), and ds #1 says he'll be a firefighter.

IMO- dd will be a lawyer-prosecutor (very verbal and loves to hear herself talk/argue, and point out when others do something wrong) and she'll quit to be a SAHM- she is obsessed with babies and always has been, and ds #1 will probably be a firefighter and pub owner: As far as ds #2 goes- I refuse to consider the fact that he will someday be something other than my baby
