Just for fun... what do you think your child will be? - Page 2

DS1, hard to say. If you ask him he will tell you he wants to go to college and get a degree in archaeology like his mom.... He has a great love of nature, and is fascinated by construction...I think he will end up as a landscape architect

DS2 is a daredevil, big time! Plus, he has an obsession with anything with wheels and a motor. I think he will end up as a race car driver, or a stuntman :LOL

Hummm, I have to say...

DD#1 A singer or actor.
DD#2 Maybe a business woman or a nurse or doctor.
DS#3 He's really smart so I'd like to think he put it to good use and would have his own business, or even better, a teacher.
DS#4 Probably something to do with action figures or comics.

I think my dd will be an actress or dancer as she's incredibly social and never stops moving/dancing/running etc. She just seems like a performer to me.

My twins are still so little, but based on their phyiques so far, I would say ds#1 will be a lawyer/doctor/accountant. Ds #2 looks like he could play linebacker on a pro football team. LOL.

This is a hilarious thread...I was ROTF, especially about the exotic dancing priest and the "problem" of the toothbrush in the cat litter box, so much so that one of my co-workers came by to see what was so funny...whoops!

I've always said that DD#1 would be a CEO, an orchestra conductor, or president-for-life of a small nation, anything that demands unquestioning obedience. She herself has said at various times that she will be a dancer or a librarian (maybe she will star in The Music Man as Marion?)

DD#2 is the complete mimic, and makes everyone laugh, so maybe she'll be a comedian or some kind of actress. She also has a penchant for taking things apart--the other day she practically dismantled the remote control AND my dh's cell phone, so she might be an engineer or a surgeon.

I'm pretty sure both girls will have something to do with music, if not as a career, than as a strong avocation. DH and I both sing, and they've watched us prepare for enough concerts, church services, parties, you name it.

Eli is brilliant, has an excessively long attention span and loves reading, writing, cars & trucks, and anything that spins or could potentially spin (if it could ever spin, Eli will see that it happens). Maybe he'll be a physicist... or a racecar driver. :LOL Whatever he chooses to do, he'll be a sucess and I'll be thrilled and feel honored to have been a part of his life. There's something extra special about him, and when Mike and I look at him, we just feel really lucky to know him.

People have told me before that DS (2) will be an actor when he gets older. We are thinking actor or musician (the drums-like Animal from The Muppets!).

A dictator.

Ok, seriously. DD is three and wants to be Dakota Fanning. What is up with little kids and acting?

I think she will pick a creative field but maybe finances of some kind. At the moment she is obsessed with investing 1/3 of every full piggy bank. I laugh when she comes up with a cup full of change for me to invest in "some real estate deal, like a building." She has been listening to her Nanna and Poppa talk on the phone a little too much!

my son says a tellietubbie. i think he thinks "what do you want to be when you grow up" is the same as "what were you for halloween". he hardly ever even watches the show...

eta that i asked him this today (the above answer was from when someone asked him a little while back) and he said "i don't want to grow up. I want to be a boy".

Seeing as DD can talk the paint off the wall & never, ever backs off her point even when she's at the point of tears & obviously wrong, I'm guessing lawyer/attorney/QC. She also says that she wants to work with me when she grows up (botany).

DS is a little more varied. He loves making machines, waterfalls, digging pits & filling them with water, etc. so DH & I reckon he'll be a civil engineer. Which will make for some interesting family discussions in the future. : Or maybe a chef, because he loves to cook, loves the act of putting parts together into some sort of whole. Clever boy.

My DD loves to draw and paint, make art - so I dunno. . .maybe an artist?

She also plays the trumpet and likes to sing and act out stories. . . .so maybe a performer or musician or a singer? She sings VERY well for her age.

And, she is very physically confident, riding a bicycle very well, having a great time in tumbling class, and possessing a very good sense of balance. . .maybe a "sport"?

So many possibilities. . .

DS - 10 A violinist. Definitely. We have to make him *stop* practicing...

DD - 8 That's harder. For years she swore she was going to be a dolphin trainer. Then she wanted to be an OB/Gyn -- until our OB/Gyn friend told her that she often has to get up in the middle of the night. That was the end of that. She's funny and dramatic -- so maybe an actress.

Great thread!

I think my son (Elijah) is going to be a prophet or an evangelist. He has the mark of God on him for sure (he's been prophesied over since birth).

I think my daughter (Olivia) is going to be a dancer. She loves to dance and at only 16 months will stand, lean on the couch and extend her leg behind her and up in a perfect ballet pose. She stands around like that!

DS will be a train conductor if he has his way..

DD...I really don't know yet...probably a zoo keeper.
