Thank you, we're not waiting, of course. He did say, which I don't know if it's true or not, that having one miscarriage does not increase your risk of another. That made me feel a bit better. He did say that after the D&C that my uterus might not be ready to accept a fertilized egg right away, which is why he recommended waiting. Don't know how much I believe that either.

And YAY for crosshairs for you !

Kat, I really hope I don't get to the point where I need one of those expensive fertility monitors I'm going to continue temping for this month and see what happens, then go from there. Good luck to you in the torturous 2WW

The dotted lines mean that FF wasn't exactly sure when O was, so it's a temporary placement for now. One or more signs didn't match up - like no fertile CF, or a -OPK or low monitor, or something else.

Mama~Love - I'm sorry your appointment sucked. It seems like most people I've talked to who have been told to wait a cycle or two found out that their doctor was recommending it for emotional healing purposes. I don't think I would wait either though.

justthinkin - Sorry that you are moving over to the BSLs. I understand though. I really hope you get your BFP soon.

AFM - After my emotional outburst on Friday, AF still hasn't started. Maybe the progesterone has helped keep her away? I'm not taking any more progesterone this cycle though. My temps are down and I'm still spotting, so I'm expecting AF today or tomorrow. It sucks that AF will be here while I'm at the beach, but at least I will be able to relax all week.

Mama~Love - I've had two m/cs (with my son in between) and I've still not heard that they reduce my chance of getting pg again. At least where I am, they only take them 'seriously' if you have several (3+?) in a row. Pretty low intervention'ist' -- but for me it helps to think that it's just the way things are and if 20% (ish) of all pgs end in m/c, then why shouldn't I have two? (even though some have none, of course. We didn't try right away after either m/c -- the first one I just took a few months to be ready for the possibility of it happening again (that was my dr's main concern), and after this last one we had some issues to resolve with the lab results from the tissue removed while in the ER -- that turned out to be nothing. Hugs and fingers crossed that you won't have another m/c and get pg again soon.

Happy 4th of July to everyone in the US I'm in Canada -- so our holiday was this past Thursday. Nice time of year for a day off with pay! Happy July 4th to everyone, actually -- Holiday or not!

AFM: cd2 here. Af started yesterday... a bit bummed and confused after 3 days of low temps and spotting first. Doing ok, though, and sort of feel like the universe is telling me to focus on my DS -- who turns 3 on Wed -- and the 1st of two parties we're having for him tonight -- 15 of us for a family supper. The kids' party will be next Sunday.

My other update is that I posted a question on the Ask an Intuitive forum -- of course asking if DS would have a sibling -- and she said yes -- in 2012!!! Holy moly. I'm not usually one to do this sort of thing (ask an intuitive) but thought I'd give it a try -- boy was I nervous opening her response! Glad to see that someone thinks we'll have another, but 2012 seems so far away... like 9 more months of not being pg before we'd even be due in Jan 2012! I might post another question asking if that is our next pg (i.e. will there be a loss in the meantime) but since I'm a skeptical type anyhow -- i doubt I'll go that far.

Also very busy getting ready for SIL's wedding on the 17th -- should be O time then -- hopefully I won't be too stressed out with all the bridesmaid's preparations. DH is the emcee and DS is the ring bearer -- should get some nice family shots while the boys are in tuxes and I'm in my dress. My sister got pg with #2 precisely on our wedding day (or that weekend at least) so here's hoping that luck passes to me on my SIL's wedding day -- that would be funny!

Off to start food prep and tidying up the house. Guests arrive in 8.75 hrs and there already isn't enough time!

(she knew I traveled extensively) But ten years later, I met him in the next town over from my house. All those years looking around in the wrong place.

afm: New resolution to not be a drama queen. ff and tcoyf online, both switched my o date to when my dh was on business trip. But I don't agree, and I switched it back to where I want it, (using the research method override)... No drama.. No fuss.. I will not be taken over the crazies this month!!!!!

Sounds like a good plan My last cycle was like that...very laid-back, no obsessing, no stress or drama, and it was sooo nice! This month however I can already tell there's going to be obsessing with my temps.

Hi all!

I'm new to posting, but I'm a long time *ahem* researcher of TTC through MDC. Just thought I'd say hi and finally come out of the woodwork. I have an awesome DD who is 15 months and we are currently trying for #2. We have had two losses -- first was before DD. The second was actually the first egg after I stopped nursing. I was on track to go three years without a period! After that loss we decided to hold off a few months and regroup - and here I am! All grouped and ready for a new munchkin.

I'm on CD5, so just twiddling my thumbs and waiting...

The doctor told me he recommended just waiting until I had a normal period and then TTC as soon as we wanted. I didn't have a D&C thought, so that might make a difference. I was also told that one miscarriage does not increase your chances of another at all.

AFM: I am 5 DPO now so I'm in the TWW. I'll probably test around 10 DPO. I'm glad I charted this cycle, it's nice to see FF pinpoint the day of O.

I lost track of the old thread, so I'm starting fresh with this one. Luck to all of us this cycle - hope we have lots of success stories in July!

I am on CD 16 and thinking today's the day. DH has been going to physical therapy, so his back is better. We BD'd once this weekend and will be again tonight.

phillybama - I remember you too! I was in the Feb 2008 DDC as well, but wasn't a very prolific poster. Hopefully this will be the month for both of us!

So, my OPK yesterday was totally blank. I almost always O on CD12, so I think that the negative was caused by massively diluted urine. Due to the heatwave I'm drinking A LOT....It was pretty much clear in the cup. I didn't realize that diluted urine would really cause a false negative (ignored instructions - really bright ) and I only had one test

My temp took a pretty big dip today, so I think I'm OK. Still a bit nervous as the CM has been pretty lacking. Guess I just need to wait a couple days to see what's up....
